Abstract
The article analyzes and summarizes the contribution of a famous Chuvash teacher, journalist, scientist, writer I.Ya. Tenyushev (19.01.1923 – 14.02.2016) to the development of Chuvash journalism. The article is devoted to the 100th birth anniversary of Ivan Yakovlevich Tenyushev, a participant in the Great Patriotic War, a journalist who worked in the media for more than 70 years and 33 years as a teacher at the Chuvash State University, a scientist who studied the history of Chuvash journalism, the founder of the training system for the mass media cadres of Chuvashia and a researcher of the creative heritage of the Chuvash educator I.Ya. Yakovlev.
The purpose of the study is to study the formation of I.Ya. Tenyushev as a teacher, a journalist, a scientist and to analyze the creative path of the journalist, the scientist and the teacher during the period of working (1967–1983, 1998–2015) at I.N. Ulianov Chuvash State University.
Materials and methods. A retrospective analysis of the historical aspects of the topic was carried out on the basis of personal data, as well as publications of scientific and methodological literature. The main research methods were the analysis and generalization of data contained in these sources, information from scientific and methodological literature. It was for the first time that some historical aspects of the creative path passed by the famous teacher, journalist, scientist, writer, I.Ya. Tenyushev, were studied.
Study results. A brief historical overview of I.Ya Tenyushev’s formation as a teacher, a journalist, a scientist is presented and the creative path of the journalist, the scientist and the teacher during the period of working (1967–1983, 1998–2015) at I.N. Ulianov Chuvash State University is analyzed. The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that the results obtained eliminate gaps in the regional history of I.Ya. Tenyushev’s creative path. The prospects of the study lie in the fact that the results obtained can be used in generalization and systematization of information on the history of journalism in Chuvashia.
Conclusions. On the basis of a retrospective analysis of the research materials, the stages of I.Ya. Tenyushev’s creative path are theoretically substantiated and differentiated showing him as a teacher, a journalist, a scientist during the period of working (1967–1983, 1998–2015) at I.N. Ulianov Chuvash State University.
